Li Auto launched the new-generation Mega battery electric MPV on Wednesday, 2 September 2026, at a national retail price of 509,800 yuan ($75,160) to revive demand for its flagship model. Available exclusively in the Home variant, the vehicle entered deliveries during the same week. The pricing reflects a 50,000 yuan reduction from the earlier Home model and 20,000 yuan below the Ultra variant introduced in April 2025. Existing Li Auto owners receive 15,000 yuan in value through complimentary 270-degree electrically dimmable glass.

The seven-seat MPV retains its distinctive streamlined design resembling a Chinese high-speed train's nose, featuring updated front and rear fascias, tailgate and lighting elements. Dimensions measure 5,355 mm in length, 1,965 mm in width and 1,850 mm in height, with a 3,300 mm wheelbase and 2-2-3 seating configuration. The drag coefficient stands at 0.215. The powertrain combines front and rear electric motors delivering 413 kW (554 hp) combined output and 657 Nm peak torque, enabling 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.9 seconds.

A 108-kWh ternary lithium-ion battery provides a CLTC range of 710 km with peak charging power exceeding 520 kW, adding 500 km of range in 10 minutes. Chassis enhancements include an 800-volt active anti-roll system, dual-chamber air springs, dual-valve CDC dampers, steer-by-wire and rear-wheel steering capable of 7-degree directional turns, reducing the turning radius to 5.5 meters. Driver-assistance hardware comprises four LiDAR sensors and two in-house developed Mach M100 chips delivering 2,560 TOPS combined computing power, with the new-generation Mach VLA model functioning on highways and urban roads throughout China.

Li Auto plans to introduce a right-hand-drive version by year-end, targeting Hong Kong, Macau and other right-hand-drive markets. The cabin features a 29-inch OLED 6K panoramic display forward and a movable 21-inch OLED 4K screen in the second row. Recent months saw significant sales pressure, with July 2026 deliveries reaching just 336 units, down 88.1% year-on-year.
