Volkswagen Anhui will unveil the ID. UNYX 09 electric sedan on September 24, 2026, marking the second jointly developed model with Xpeng. The B-segment coupe sedan features wolf-inspired design aesthetics and advanced AI-assisted driving capabilities, available in single-motor and dual-motor configurations.
Volkswagen Anhui will hold the ID. UNYX 09's production launch and debut event on September 24, with simultaneous online streaming. A countdown poster on Weibo using the hashtag "ID. UNYX 09 pre-sales open" suggests the model may accept advance orders at the event.
The sedan completed its regulatory filing in July, obtaining entry into China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) catalog—the final major approval step before sales authorization. Measuring 5,081 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,509 mm in height with a 3,030 mm wheelbase, the five-seat vehicle positions itself as a B-segment intelligent all-electric coupe sedan.
The ID. UNYX 09 comes in single-motor rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive versions, both with a top speed of 200 km/h. The single-motor variant delivers 230 kW peak power, while the dual-motor configuration produces 140 kW front and 230 kW rear, totaling 370 kW. Both versions use lithium iron phosphate batteries from CATL. The vehicle features an exclusive wolf-inspired aesthetic design incorporating crystal-cut headlights, a smart light bar, and a dedicated gold badge.
